Lutterworth Ramblers arranges walks for members of the (national) Ramblers’ Association (RA).  However we encourage and welcome visitors to join us, although we would expect regular visitors to become members of the RA (link on Contacts page).

 

Walks are categorised as follows:

Grade E - approx. 4 miles, easy, generally evening, walk

Grade C - approx. 5 to 7 miles, leisurely to moderate half-day walk

Grade C+ - more strenuous or longer C walk

Grade B - approx. 8 to 12 miles, moderate to occasionally strenuous full-day walk

Shorter walks (up to 5 miles) tend to be local, longer walks may be further afield.

We also arrange weekends away throughout the UK, and sometimes weeks overseas.  

 

Pub stops cannot be guaranteed for all walks, so please bring adequate liquid refreshment and, for day walks especially, a packed lunch.

 

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing, as terrain can sometimes be wet or difficult and there is likely to be no hiding place from the sun (one hopes) or inclement weather!
